How could movement arts enhance the MIT curriculum?
Students in spring 2026 discussed, debated, and danced their way through this question. You'll find some of their answers below: 7 Movement Labs tackle MIT's General Institute Requirements—topics in chemistry, biology, math, and physics that every undergraduate needs to know. 8 Dance Labs align with other classes in the MIT curriculum, expanding the academic subjects covered and choreographic tools used to teach them. Students also compiled an Idea Bank with even more ideas for movement-based STEM instruction.
